LCM salt bath line

The LCM salt bath technology is probably one of the oldest for the continuous vulcanisation of extruded profiles and a very large number of lines still exist in the industrialised world, most of which do not comply with safety and environmental regulations. MDC Engineering proposes to study the adaptation of the VulcanoClean® process. After study, some customers preferred to invest in a new line, but to date, there are more than 18 adaptation references.

The VulcanoClean device is adapted to provide an environmentally-friendly solution by eliminating pollutant emissions and using mixed electric/gas heating, thus guaranteeing the best energy efficiency and cutting-edge environmental technology while maintaining high productivity (speeds of up to 120 m/min).
